Introduction
Pasokon Labs PLT (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a limited liability partnership registered in Malaysia and operates Transift. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit transift.com or use Transift, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
This policy should be read with our Terms of Service. It describes our privacy practices and does not remove any rights or protections you have under applicable law.
Information we collect
We collect information needed to run Transift and process the documents you upload. This may include:
- account and contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, and business details;
- bank statement PDFs that you upload, whether they belong to you, your business, or a client; and
- the financial and transaction information in those statements, including the structured data we extract and return to you; and
- other information that we provide notice about when we collect it, or that we may otherwise use as described in this policy or as permitted by law.
You do not have to give us this information, but some parts of the service may not work if you choose not to.
Information about other people
When you use the service, you may give us information about other people or businesses, such as employees, customers, or suppliers.
You are responsible for making sure you have permission to share that information with us. You should also let those people know about this Privacy Policy, including what information may be collected, why it is used, who may receive it, and how they can ask to access it.
We will handle this information as described in this Privacy Policy and as allowed or required by applicable privacy and data-protection laws.
How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Transift, including to:
- confirm your identity or your business details;
- set up, operate, and support your account;
- provide service updates and, where permitted, information about Transift;
- respond to questions and fix technical or service issues;
- communicate with you;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations; and
- provide other services you ask us to provide.
Your business data remains yours. We access sensitive financial information only when needed to provide support, maintain or secure the service, perform a service you request, or where access is otherwise permitted or required by law.
We will use your information for the reasons described in this policy, for another purpose we explain when collecting it, where you give us permission, or where the law permits or requires us to do so. Depending on the circumstances, this may include providing the service you request, complying with a legal obligation, protecting our rights, or preventing fraud and misuse.
Keeping your account secure
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Tell us at privacy@transift.com as soon as you think someone else may have used your password or accessed your account. Change your password immediately if you can.
Aggregated data
We may combine information we collect into data that does not identify you personally. We may use this aggregated or de-identified data to understand how people use Transift, improve it, and create general business insights. We will not treat information as anonymous if it can reasonably be used to identify you.
Where information is stored and who helps us
We use the following service providers to help operate Transift: DigitalOcean for infrastructure and hosting; Cloudflare for object storage, network delivery and security; Google Workspace for business communications and productivity; and Stripe for payment processing.
We may engage additional or replacement service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, improve, or provide Transift, including providers for hosting, communications, analytics, customer support, security, and payment processing. These providers may process information on our behalf, or in connection with the services they provide, under safeguards appropriate to the circumstances.
Providers and processing locations may change. Information may be transferred to or stored outside your country. Where required by law, we use appropriate protections for those transfers.
Pasokon Labs PLT remains responsible for the information it controls and takes reasonable steps to oversee providers that process information for us.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information from unauthorised access, changes, loss, or disclosure. No internet service can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will always be safe.
Please only provide information through a secure connection and keep your account details private.
If we discover a security breach that affects your information, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible if and when required by applicable law.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with providers that help us operate Transift, when you ask us to do something, when you give us permission, or when disclosure is permitted or required by law.
For example, we may need to share information to comply with a court order, legal process, government investigation, or request from a tax authority. We may also share information to protect rights, safety, or the security of Transift, or to investigate fraud or misuse. Where the law allows, we will tell you before making that disclosure.
Payment information
Stripe is our current payment-processing provider. Stripe handles payment details under its own privacy policy. Transift does not store payment credentials.
Accessing or correcting your information
Please keep the information in your account accurate and up to date. You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@transift.com.
We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may also have rights to ask us to delete or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, or receive a copy of information in a portable format. These rights are not absolute and may be limited by legal exceptions, including where we need to keep or use information to comply with law, establish or defend legal claims, protect someone’s rights or safety, or maintain the security of Transift. If we cannot meet your request, we will explain why unless we are not allowed to do so.
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy or data-protection regulator in your country.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide Transift, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it, anonymise it, or securely isolate it where deletion is not reasonably possible or where the law allows or requires us to keep it.
Cookies
We may use cookies and similar technologies to help the website and service work, remember your preferences, understand overall usage, and improve Transift.
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Some are removed when you close your browser, while others remain for longer.
You can set your browser to reject cookies. However, doing so may affect how well the website or service works.
Privacy complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your information, please send the details and any supporting documents to privacy@transift.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted at /privacy, with a new last-updated date. If we make an important change, we will try to let you know by email or another appropriate method. The updated policy applies from its stated effective date. Where applicable law requires notice or consent for a change, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent rather than relying only on continued use of Transift.
